I apologize for being silent for so long. I have been studying Hebrew, and working. I have a Hebrew word of the Day on my twitter account, if you have Twitter. Look for Keren Yonkers, morah ivrit. https://twitter.com/#!/morahivrit should take you there.
I do also have a sign up on this website for a Hebrew Word of the Day. The words on each are not identical. The twitter account, I sort of do an "open dictionary, point finger, post that word" method, and the one available through here on this website is systematically running through the vocabulary in the First Hebrew Primer which I use with my Advanced Hebrew class.
Unfortunately, I got behind in loading the words into icontact, (through this website) so no one is currently receiving these words. You can begin again, by signing up on my home page. If you signed up in February, you are one of the ones not getting these Word of the Day anymore. You have 2 options: you can just wait, and when I get the words caught up to 120 days from sign-up, you will begin getting them again, but will have missed a few months worth.OR, I recommend simply signing up again, since the words are sent out automatically based on sign up date. I have just over 100 words entered. The first several will be repeat of what you got when you signed up the first time in February, but that isn't all bad!
If you do sign up and already did before, let me know via email: firstname.lastname@example.org, so that I can be sure to cancel out your old one and have the new one start. Todah Raba.
