The 10 days between Yom Teruah (aka Rosh HaShanah) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) are a time of reflection, resolutions, and renewal. Even though I am totally busy with starting school this year, one of my resolutions is to not allow the cares of the daily highway of life to detour me from the true way of Yeshua. As part of that, I have been taking my early morning time to have personal devotions and prayer. I have been examining my priorities and making some hard decisions on how to spend my time. I encourage you to read this more in depth article from my friend, John Parsons. click Hebrew4Christians.com. to see the article!
Yesterday, I enjoyed meeting with my congregation to worship and break bread together, participating in the symbolic "tashlich" (cast away) service, to remember how Adonai has cast away our sins into the deep sea. There was plenty of shofar blowing, too!!!
Micah 7:19 says וְתַשְׁלִיךְ בִּמְצֻלוֹת יָם, כָּל חַטֹּאותָם.

And you will cast away in the depths of the sea, their sins.
Remember, that if you confess your sins HE is faithful and will forgive. This is found in the Newer Testament: 1 John 1:9
שלום shalom to you and your family!
